WHY SMALL-GROUP TRAVEL ?

WHY SMALL-GROUP TRAVEL ?
We prefer small-group travel for quality of tours. The world opens up a little more for a small group than it does for a solo traveller or a big-bus tour.

OUR TOURS

Morocco's deep history, and its tremendously rich culture has inspired artisans to endlessly produce superbly beautiful works. In days gone by, this was reflected in the opulent lives of the rich, from architecture to the minute details of everyday life objects.

While enjoying the varied and grandeur of the magnificent Moroccan landscape - from the Atlantic coast to the mountains, medieval cities to the Sahara, a trip to Morocco is only complete with your stay in some of the Riads to enjoy these beautiful and exquisite works left by artisans of the past, a rare and distinctively Moroccan experience.

The tours are designed with the hope that you will enjoy these unique local experiences that Morocco offers.

On Islamic Architecture

" The embodiment of moral life was achieved brilliantly in some of the old works of Islamic architecture. These works excelled in creating multi-layered correspondences so that, for all the richness of detail, the eye and mind would never become bored or exhausted. Zooming in from the harmonised whole, unwrapping the interwoven layers of space, elements, pattern, light and water, the eye can move in small sequenced rebounds from eye to mind and back again. On any 'layer' on which the eye settles, the mind is invited to follow it, into an arena of pleasurable and meaningful experience."

About Me

I travel to discover the unfamiliar. My visit to the Sahara has been one of life most amazing experiences! Until one sits in that vast expanse of darkness under million of stars, it is difficult to imagine that nothingness in a landscape can bring about such powerful and enriching experience.

Morocco is exotic, mystical, alluring, and in between the modern and ancient, it can be time travels from one city to another.

Come and join me in this fascinating journey!

Arabic Calligrapher Honda Kōichi on his experience of the desert

... The colours you see in the desert are in fact quite rich in their variations, always changing as the light from the sun changes. As dawn nears, a silver light gradually spreads out, eventually becoming a deep ocean blue. When the sun first peeks over the horizon the light changes to a golden yellow - but just a moment later it's completely white. The light then becomes so powerful that you can't make out the contours in the land. When the sun begins to set in the evening, various colours appear again as the sky is tinged a fiery red. A few minutes later everything is pitch black, and the space above the horizon is the star-filled heavens no matter which way you turn. At night you can't hear a single noise; it's so quiet that it almost makes your ears ache. Living in this sort natural world you'll find that gradually all five of your senses are sharpened ...
